Softball for A Cause
This is a personal
invitation to Success in the City members from
Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz.
Debbie would love to have us there cheering
both her and her team on, so let's show our
support!
"As you may know, I
will be captaining the first-ever Congressional
Women’s Softball Game which will
be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 7:35pm at
Guy Mason Field in Washington, D.C. This
game raises money and awareness for a very
important organization – the Young Survival
Coalition (YSC).
But true to fashion,
I cannot stop at captaining – I also plan to
raise at least $2,500 for
YSC.
YSC is the premier
international organization dedicated to the
critical issues unique to young women and
breast cancer. The incredible staff at
YSC works with survivors, caregivers, and the
medical, research, advocacy and legislative
communities to increase the quality and
quantity of life for women diagnosed with
breast cancer ages 40 and
under.
All funds raised will
go directly to the Young Survival
Coalition.
Thank you in advance
for your support. I truly appreciate your
generosity!!
Take
care,
Debbie Wasserman
