Paper piles burying you? Don’t know where to start? Filing but still can’t find anything? Nothing you’ve tried works?

Standardized off-the-shelf filing systems don’t work for everyone. If you want a filing system* you can customize for yourself, attend this 3-hour workshop where you will learn:

– Best practices for filing

– How to name your file folders and what to put where

– How to group similar files together

– Techniques to make your filing easier

Note: Hands-on exercises.  Bring a few stacks of those papers you don’t know where to file — things you might be keeping because they’re interesting, because you might use them some day, because you need them for a project, or because they contain useful information.

* This workshop will focus exclusively on how to file paper documents.

Workshop leader: Susan Kousek of Balanced Spaces is a Certified Professional Organizer who has been organizing others since 1990. She works hands-on with her clients to help them set up filing systems based on the way they think.
