Resolving Workplace
Conflict: A Simulation Workshop
As business leaders,
Success In The City members are responsible for
their organization's success - and
occasionally, conflicts arise that can be an
obstacle to that success.
Conflicts can lower productivity, result
in the loss of a client or team member, or if
things get really out of hand, possible time in
court.
This Simulation Workshop, entitled
"Resolving Workplace Conflict" is part of
Success In The City's Astute Institute program,
a series of cutting edge events and information
programs designed to help the group's members
aspire, learn, advance and achieve any of their
heart's desires.
Workplace conflict can
take place between two team members or
sometimes between you and your customer. In this
highly interactive workshop, attendees will
learn how to mediate and resolve conflict using
a business simulation. The
simulation focuses on implementing conflict
resolution processes, building on lessons from
the classic text on conflict resolution,
"Getting to Yes, Negotiating Agreement Without
Giving In" (Fisher, Ury,
Patton).
The purpose of this
simulation is to give you an opportunity to
practice and improve your communication skills
and get the desired results in conflict
situations. This simulation helps you
understand the conflict resolution process and
benefits you by reducing future conflicts
before they get out of
hand.
Success In The City is a
women's networking organization comprised of
successful business women. The
organization is known for its out-of-the-box
and over-the-top events that focus on having
fun, building trust, and leveraging humor to
